Can I purchase any medical devices from you?

Rancho REP does not at this time manufacter or sell any orthothotic or prosthetic devices. Designs created in our projects are sold to various manufacturers. If you wish to try out our latest devices, as a volunteer subject, see below.

I am a student interested in the field of rehabilitation engineering. How can I become involved in rehab engineering?

Among the objectives of the Rehabilitation Engineering Program is the widspread dissemination of information in this field, from mechanical designs to test results. As such, Rancho REP runs several projects meant to introduce students, from elementary to college, to rehabilitation engineering. Also, Rancho REP has a summer internship program, and welcomes volunteers at any time.

Could I become involved as a volunteer mentor in the Hands-on Experiences in Rehabilitation Engineering Outreach (HERO) program as a Student Mentor?

Certainly you may! We at Rancho REP are always looking for a few good student mentors to assist us in our exciting outreach program to the local Elementary, Middle, and High schools. To become a student mentor you need to obtain good work ethics, be punctual, be a good listener, follow instructions, be a team player, be a good role model, and have good communication skills.
